Emily Shinn, CPA

Emily is a Partner in the Firm’s Tax and Business Solutions Group. She joined our team in November 2017 as an experienced tax manager. In addition to her 8 years with Symphona, Emily’s 22 years of experience includes 3 years with Herzing University as their Fiscal Officer, 6 years with Big 4 in private company services groups and 5 years as a tax manager in software and retail companies. She leads the Firm’s State and Local Tax thought leadership and Entity Process groups, including non-profits. During her tenure with Symphona she has leveraged her experience to assist the Education Services Group to provide tax compliance and consulting to the Firm’s Education clients.
