Donya Fowler, CPA

Donya has 25 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. She is an Audit Partner of the firm’s Education Services Group. In this role, Donya leads the Education Services Group, which specializes in providing audits and attestation work for the postsecondary education industry. She supervises and works on financial statement and Title IV Compliance Audits for both for profit and non-profit institutions. She has also assisted with special engagements including one-day balance sheet audits, agreed-upon procedures, and 90/10 revenue test attestation engagements. Donya stays active in the industry by participating as an instructor of the Student Financial Aid Audit Seminars, which is a subsidiary of the firm, attending conferences and staying up to date on current events in the industry.

Prior to resuming her career with the firm, Donya worked in-house as an audit manager and also in the private sector as a Controller. This experience, both within the Firm and outside of the Firm provides her with a wealth of knowledge to see the full picture in dealing with clients’ needs.
